    The eye for detail is a trained characteristic for a detailer. You can “detail” hundreds of cars a week but if you’re doing it like a machine, going through the motions, you’re not really training your eye. When it comes to training it has to be approached from a very open mind with some sort of emotional attachment (positive emotions work best). Not everyone can approach learning with that kind of perspective.

    Value is what you take into consideration when making an informed decision upon a service or product. An informed decision is a good decision. Value is then respected because when it comes down to it, if a product or service is going to bring a small benefit to you it becomes unworthy to be invested in. If it brings value to only the provider of that product or service it doesn’t hold much value for you as the end user, the customer.

    Exterior:

    •Decontamination of paint and glass surfaces (this includes the use of clay to remove overspray, set in dirt, road debris, that get settled into the paint and glass of your vehicle)

    •Degrease wheels and dress tires(a deeper and more thorough clean can be added for customers with a more discerning eye for detail upon request)

    • Clean/degrease door jambs, door sills, etc

    •All exterior panels on the bottom side of the car that collect road grime

    •Wax/seal paint

    • Clean windows inside and out(a rain repelling solution can be applied that lasts for up to 2 weeks or longer in most cases upon request)

     

    Interior:

    •Complete vacuum including trunk

    •Meticulous shampooing, conditioning and cleaning of all interior materials including but not limited to vents, headrests, floor mats, door panels, cubby holes, carpeting, etc

    •Rigorous cleaning of all leather surfaces

    •Removal of scuffs/marring on entry door mouldings from shoes, etc(note that actual damage of any interior surface cannot be cleaned away)

    •Leather conditioning using a light weight non-greasy, low shine treatment (some darker colored leather will show a slight matte shine)

    IGOR’S NOTES:

    These are basic starting prices and do not reflect vehicles in need of extensive attention. These are very reasonable prices to begin with but obviously every car and owner is different so expectations and results will also be different. Results will be matched to customers real world expectations. Prices are subject to change according to vehicles actual interior/exterior condition.

     

    I have been called a perfectionist and have a picky and critical eye that I have acquired through experience and feedback, that will dissect many areas that I should say not many people will require or be able to tell the difference. It’s a way of saying “if you can’t appreciate it, see it or understand it then why pay the price.” This package will work for 97% of the customers out there. With the remaining 3% being those that have a hyper-critical eye like myself who will appreciate and demand the type of meticulous attention I can provide.

     

    I am a flexible person and at the end of it all I am not only working for you, but it is your money and it is the space in your world, and your vehicle. Upon my arrival on the scheduled date and time, we will spend the first moments together going over the vehicle to assess your top priorities along side your specific budget.

     

    With every car there are ways and areas on which one could save money, if you as the owner feel there are areas of less importance; one such area being the trunk. You may simply prefer to stick to an exact budget, allowing me to create the type of results to the best of my ability keeping your specific budget and areas of concern in mind.

     

    My goal is to create a relationship and trust on every possible level, and over-delivering seems to be the characteristic that aids in that process.

    ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO CONSIDER THAT WILL HAVE AN AFFECT ON PRICING:

    •Black car(as a previous owner of a black car I know first hand how incredible the paint looks when it is at its best condition, now to get it there takes much more work than white.)

    •Fabric seats(as a rule fabric seats need more attention and thoroughness in order to achieve results compared to leather, may acquire additional fees)

    •Pet hair(this can be a time burden depending on the actual type of dog hair and fabric)

    •Smoking(smoke does increase the amount of time that it takes to adequately clean and deodorize the vehicles interior)

    •Headliner deep-cleaning (headliner and sun visors are usually spot cleaned by rule, if your headliner or sunvisors are exceptionally dirty additional costs may be required)

    •Excessive dirt( someone’s idea of clean is another’s description of filthy, excessive spills, staining, dirt will be noted and may require additional expenses)

    •Convertible cars( if you actually drive with the top down the same dirt and dust that settles on your paint settles on the interior parts adding a higher level of dirt that requires cleaning in the interior detailing process. This may require additional cost)

    •Your car is older than 5 years

    •If your car has had application of greasy interior coatings which have now accumulated dust and grime which will require a more thorough cleaning process to remove

    SPECIAL NOTES

    Please take note of the additional information regarding detailing prices:

    •Convertibles add $10-20 to the noted prices. You ask why? Have you seen all the dirt that collects on your paint surface? That same thing is happening on the interior requiring a deeper more thorough clean as dust and dirt do not discriminate. This is a case by case judgement and will be determined over the phone and appointment.  

    •CASH ONLY for first time customers, as we have yet to establish a relationship

    •Want to maximize your value with Detail Me Mine?! Run your car through a car wash or have it washed one or two days before our appointed time. Yes you understood that last sentence correctly. This way your payment goes towards what we do best which is professional detailing, not car washing. Any detail will require removal of surface dirt. This is not a requirement but merely a suggestion if you like to get the most out of your money with our service! In the end this saves you money and allows your money and Detail Me Mine to better work for you.

    Auto engine detailing

    Add $30-60 to degrease/detail your engine compartment. Take into consideration just like detailing itself, detailing the engine bay can be just a quick degrease of the surface and call it quits, or I can do a thorough cleaning not only of the engine itself but the surrounding areas.

     

    Paint correction/Enhancement

    Per quote

    Together we will dive into the details of what you are looking for in your paint. If you are unhappy with the way your vehicles paint currently looks paint correction is the only sure way to improve that. Of course removing contaminants and waxing the paint will improve its overall appearance and beauty but it will not removing the micro scratching, spider webbing, swirl marks, holograms, etc. For those with a critical eye, your paint can be raised to many new levels of perfection based on your requirements. Regardless of the reason, your vehicles paint can and will look better through our techniques. I am here to provide exceptional real world results that will be tailored to your vision, working along side your ideas and specific budget.

     

    Interior leather/fabric protection

    Add $30-60. A nano-technology protection agent that works on the nano scale. Applied to all surfaces that are leather/fabric, this will create a hydrophobic layer. This new formed layer will not change the appearance, textures, or feel of the coated surface but will repel dirt, grime and many liquids exceptionally well and aid in keeping your interior materials cleaner longer, until your next detail. Every vehicle and their accompanying owner have a unique vision of what they require to have their vehicle protected, whether it’s one seat or every square inch.

    Note: there has been a small residual smell after initial application which seems to fade within several days as the agent cures and bonds to the fibers of the interior fabric, we reccomend leaving your vehicles windows slightly cracked if local conditions permit.

     

    Sound isolator

    Starting at $250. We live in a four season climate here in The Midwest. The underbody of your vehicle is in constant battle with the outside elements, from rocks to road noise and everything in between. Anything that can be found on the road can make it underneath your vehicle. This process applies a rubberized coating that then dries into a harder rubber material that will provide an improved driving experience as road noise will be reduced with the added layer of protection. Some have claimed that this also aids against rust development, such claims are extraordinary but at the same time add peace of mind. This is ideal for the person looking for ways to protect their investement and add additional value to their vehicle.

    Emergency stain removal

    Starting at $10 depending on stain size, stain contents, location etc. I will come to you at the quickest convenience to eradicate a new/old stain or spill in your vehicle with realistic results. Not all stains are created equal and neither are the surfaces that are below them. Let’s talk to discuss the best plan of action for your particular situation.

     

    Vehicle debadging/decal removal

    Prices are based on size, condition of vehicle, condition of badge/decal, age of vehicle, etc. Every vehicle is unique in its own way and so are the badges and decals that are on them. Together we will decide what is the best approach and strategy to reach your desired results.

    Maintenance Detailing

    This is different than the traditional detailing service and will most definitely have different price points found at the top of this page. This service leaves your vehicle in showroom condition every single time that I will come out and perform my magic. If you are wanting to maintain your vehicle in tip top shape from the day you buy it, maintenance programs are the ones for you.

    Prices vary depending on actual vehicle type and the frequency of the program. There are no set limitations as every vehicle and their owner is different.

    •Weekly

    •Once a month

    •Bi-monthly

    •Every 6 weeks

    •Every two months

     

    Again there are no limitations. Everything is based upon your world.

    Boat Detailing St Joseph and surrounding areas
